We now have a few new disco lights for our customers to choose from. To begin with we have Showtec’s new Firestorm Disco Effect. The Firestorm is a 4-in-1 light effect that features eight RGBUV wash LED’s, eight RGBAW roatating derby LED’s, twelve SMD strobe LED’s and a 130mW RG Laser. All four effects can be selected individually in auto or music-controlled programs. The Firestorm can also be controlled via DMX if you need full control of all the features.

We also have the new QTX Butterfly 3-in-1 LED & Laser light effect. This fixture has a colourful butterfly effect, consisting of six RGB PAR LED’s and an RG laser. The Butterfly has auto programs, sound-activated, master/slave and DMX control to give the user all the options they might need. For more precise control, this fixture can be controlled with any DMX console capable of 13 channels.

Another new addition is the QTX Spherosmoke-400 LED Fog Machine. The Spherosmoke is a compact and portable unit comprising of a standard fog machine wiht two built in light effects. The 400w fogger generates 2500cu.ft/min, ample fog to fill a small venue. The nine bright RGB LED’s provide a traditional PAR wash effect and the additional RGB Magic Ball then adds colourful patterns that combine wit the fog to fill the room with light and fog.

Our final new disco effect is the QTX Mooncloud-400 Fog Machine. This is fairly similar to the Spherosmoke in that it is an all-in-one fog and disco effect. As with the previous unit, the Mooncloud has a 400w fog machine but has nince bright RGB LED’s for the PAR effect and a central RGB moonflower effect which provides colourful patterns.

Finally we have the new QTX UMBRA-1200 Low Mist Generator. The UMBRA is a stage effect machine that produces a ‘dry ice’ type low fog effect without the use of carbon dioxide or ice. Using new technology, the UMBRA delivers a ground-hugging mist from standard fog fluid and water. Housed in a flight case with castors, the main unit has a removable fluid tank and easy access to the water reservoir with a draining tap. The mist is delivered via a flexible duct and output funnel to allow the user to direct the effect to a specific area. Operated by the onboard digital control panel, which can be detached as a wired remote via DMX. This is a truly amazing effect, please pop into the office for a demonstration.
