One of the little-known aspects of our portfolio is that we service, repair and supply curtains/drapes and tracks for various institutions, including crematoria. We usually service sites throughout the Cotswolds, including Gloucestershire, Worcestershire, Herefordshire and Oxfordshire, not to mention further afield, including Midlands, South Wales and the South West. A typical install would require a fully automated retractable curtain, perhaps using a Silent Gliss Curtain Track System. All of our curtains are made to the customers specification, using made-to-measure fabrics and colours, which will of course be inherently flame retardant. One of the most popular fabrics at the moment is the Nulan Dimout; with a range of twenty shades to choose from, and with various linings available, this fabric has proven itself as a favoured choice.

Our involvement doesn’t just cover the curtain and track installation. Not only do we service and repair any issues with the whole drape system, we also offer PA and AV systems for Crematoria. One of our customers employs a full sound system which can be piped to other rooms and outside for those funerals that require more space than usual. A useful option was a live camera feed televised to the outside area so that mourners could see and hear what was going on outside.
